℘ Life Update Time ℘
Hello friends! Sorry for the late post.
As the title suggests, I will be going into the operating theatre as a patient for the first time.
Since young, I have had trouble hearing with my left ear. My parents always thought that there was something stuck there etc., so I didn’t really go and get a check up done, I just lived with it basically.
But after my doctor did an Audiogram and a Computed Tomography (CT) scan or Tympanometry, she found out that I had a bony spur attached to my middle ear, thus the sound would not travel in as normal as it can’t vibrate freely.
Thus she gave me three options – hearing aid, surgery or do nothing about it. And obviously, I chose surgery.
This surgery will be exploratory too because they may consider doing an ossiculoplasty for me if necessary.
So anyway, I got the call this afternoon saying that I will have to report at noon on Monday, and it is a day surgery so that’s good.
Is anyone going for surgery too? Let me know if you have any tips to calm your nerves HAHA. 😛
